You Found Me!
Design is how I best communicate solutions to problems and reimagine what's possible.
I’m Corey Lucius, a Senior UX Designer, Artist, Explorer, and Daydreamer.
With over a decade of experience crafting thoughtful, user-centered solutions, I combine a passion for visual design with a deep curiosity about user behavior and needs. My journey began with a BFA from the Columbus College of Art & Design, where I honed my artistic skills and developed a mindset for pushing boundaries to create experiences that “just make sense”—even for complex challenges. As an artist, I find immense satisfaction in weaving depth and personality into every design, from aesthetics to tone.
Most recently at Amazon
I led the UX integration of One Medical into the Amazon ecosystem, designing a scalable framework for purchasing memberships and managing accounts. This work required deep dives into user research, RITE testing, and presenting polished concepts to senior leadership—a masterclass in collaboration across companies and problem-solving at scale.
Before that, I strategized and defined the UX designs for some of Amazon’s personalization initiatives, earning a patent in 2021 for a behavioral-driven recommendations framework for customers. I also created the highly successful “Keep Shopping For…” campaign, a feature consistently ranked as one of Amazon’s top performers from 2020 to 2024. These experiences allowed me to refine my craft and deliver innovative, high-impact results that hopefully bring customers joy and make their lives easier.
Beyond Amazon
My career experience spans across healthcare, insurance, and retail industries. Some highlights include:
- Healthcare: Designing an iOS app for Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
- Insurance: Developing an accessibility-focused design system for internal tools at Nationwide Insurance.
- Retail: Contributing to cutting-edge digital experiences for brands like Victoria’s Secret, Wendy’s, and P&G.
Across all my work, I strive to combine creativity with strategy, bringing to life experiences that started-out as dreams about new approaches to (typically old, reoccurring) problems.
